I have had the chance to do some reading. I've found that I still enjoy (most) young adult literature. I still seem to not enjoy Jane Austen (is Persuasion a bad one to start with?). I am looking forward to the release of Handmade Home by Amanda Soule and Bend the Rules With Fabric by Amy Karol, both due to be released in August. I am also looking forward to the new Dan Brown and the new Kathy Reichs (there will be one, right?) this fall.
In addition to our summer fun and my reading catch up (which I will go into more in another post), I've been doing some sewing. Several of my loved ones have welcomed babies recently, and I have been slowly preparing for their arrival for a while. As soon as the mamas receive their packages, I will post pictures of the goodies. I'm excited to show them off, but I can't say anymore as one of the mamas could be reading this (although she's probably sleeping).
I'll leave you with a few links to posts I've enjoyed recently.

Edited: I noticed a typo in the first paragraph and corrected it. I have not started a new company, nor do I have anything to do with Ella Publishing other than expecting to be a fan. I am NOT trying to take credit for anyone else's work. If I do start a new company, I promise to do an entire post devoted to it!

Thanks for the shout! You have to be anticipating Silas House's book Eli the Good due in September too... right. :) I can hardly sit still thinking about it.
Kelli,
I didn't know Silas has a new book coming out, but I'm eagerly anticipating now! Although I have to admit, I still haven't gotten to The Coal Tattoo. I will soon, I hope.
