- Appalachian Home Cooking: History, Culture, & Recipes by Mark F. Sohn - As the title implies, this book contains both the history behind the food and recipes. It's not just wild foods, but all Appalachian food (much of it I recognize as southern).
- The Neighborhood Forager: A Guide for the Wild Food Gourmet by Robert K. Henderson - Currently out of print. Good information though. I'll be checking this out of the library again.
- The Wild Food Gourmet: Fresh and Savory Food From Nature by Anne Gardon - Also out of print. The recipes are intriguing and most have photos too.

Edible Wild Plants - A Few Resources
I wrote a post last May about an article I wrote for the Spencer Magnet on Wild Edible Plants. I meant to include a resource list, and didn't. Here's a few resources if you want to look into the subject more deeply.
