Current Addictions Spring 2011 edition

I came across this older post about Current Addictions (inspired by The Artful Parent) and I thought it sounded like a fun thing to revisit.

Current Addictions Spring 2011:

  • Trader Joe-Joes covered in chocolate - My dear friend Jen sent these to me for my birthday, and I've doled them out sparingly. They flavors are peanut butter filling with milk chocolate, chocolate filling with milk chocolate, peppermint filling with dark chocolate and ginger filling with white chocolate. (Jen knows me well.)  The chocolate casing has kept them from getting stale (I got them in the mail 2 months or more ago). I only have 4 left, and while I know that's a good thing, it makes me a little sad.
  • photo books - I recently discovered the website Photobook Girl. She reviews various photo book companies and has links to Groupons, discounts and free book codes. I still scrapbook, but I see photo books as an extension of scrapbooking. It's just SO cool to get a hardcover book with my family's pictures in it!
  • comic books - This is very new, just since Free Comic Book Day on Saturday. I pulled out my first Firefly graphic novel and reread it, and I've started looking into other comic books.
  • Firefly - This is not a new addiction, but comic book day reminded me how much I love this show. I have a hard time turning it off if I find it on tv. It's not really appropriate for a 4 year old, so I do but it's hard.
I think that's quite enough for now! What are your current additions?
