Mother's Day Ideas

Mother's Day is Sunday. It really snuck up on me this year. If you're still looking for ideas for yourself or the mothers in your life, I found some ideas to share.
  • Documenting the Ordinary: Moments to Photograph this Mother's Day @ Simple Kids - These are ideas for photos to take during Mother's Day.
  • Preschool Crafts for Mother's Day - Especially the literacy activities for Five Minutes Peace. Love that book.
  • Paper Coterie - This is a new photo swag company. They make photo books, journals, calendars and other fun things with photos on them. Through Sunday, they are offering a $40 credit on purchases (not including shipping). Get something for your mom or for yourself.
  • Jot Journal - Do you use your Facebook status update to post quotes from your kids? JotJournal gives you a way to compile these statuses in book form. Through May 11, they are giving away free books with the coupon code "mom." (Shipping not included.)

I am not affiliated with these companies, but I thought they sounded like good gifts to give moms or for moms to give to themselves.

I wish I could spend Mother's Day with my own mother who is several states away, but I feel incredibly lucky and blessed to have a wonderful daughter of my own. Now I need to go work on those Mother's Day cards I meant to send days ago. . .

What are your plans for Mother's Day?
